Description
Our Rib Steaks are hand-trimmed, indivually vacuum packed and immediately frozen. Although this a lot more time than simply placing them in an over-wrapped polystyrene tray, it does preserve the flavor and wholesomeness of this signature item, protecting them from freezer burn. The Rib Steak has the bone, which imparts additional flavor to the meat during grilling or broiling. Do not break the vacuum seal until defrosting is complete, which ideally should be done in the refridgerator. If it can be avoided, these steaks are too good to defrost in the microwave - it will detract from the tenderness and juiciness of the end product. Ideally, these steaks should be grilled on the barbecue or broiled in the oven and eaten immediately (without burning your tongue or mouth). Our Rib Steaks will typically produce just under 16 oz. of meat and is therefore adequate for one hungry adult or 2 mildly hungry adults.
